We’re looking for our next intern to join us in July to help with sourcing investments for the HCVC fund and running the Hardware Club community.

About us:

HCVC is the first European investment fund dedicated to hardtech and full-stack startups (combining hardware, software, and AI). We support our portfolio startups with Hardware Club, the most-selective community of hardware startups in the world. By mutualizing experience, knowledge, and network, our members learn from each other and move faster. We have a small, but effective international team, spanning San Francisco and Paris. We’re looking for an analyst intern to join us for 6 months to help us keep this machine running. Our interns are involved in all aspects of deal sourcing, investment evaluation, and closing, creating content, and community support. We are looking for ambitious individuals, passionate about technology, and willing to support the next wave of hardtech founders. The internship is based in Paris but some travel might be involved, depending on global conditions.

What you will do:

  • Identify and analyze potential investments in our selected focus areas
  • Help with performing due diligence
  • Conduct market and competitive landscape research
  • Support the Community Lead in organizing events and in helping with special community-related projects
  • Represent HCVC at industry events and expand its local network

About you:

  • You are currently enrolled in a program at a top-tier business or engineering school
  • You have strong analytical skills and you are able to communicate, verbally and in writing, with a variety of stakeholders in a comprehensive and succinct manner
  • You have demonstrated interest in technology and the startup ecosystem
  • You are a self-starter, able to organize your own work and carry it out unsupervised
  • You are a team player and enjoy working in a small-team setting
  • You are fluent in English; other languages are a plus

What we offer:

  • Opportunity to be part of the entire lifecycle of a VC investment
  • Opportunity to meet our 500 community startups and source new community members
  • Opportunity to learn about Venture Capital and build your network
  • A chance to travel (depending on global conditions)

To apply:

Fill in this form. And spread the word about the program!
